One week in and almost 1,000 backers!

Hello and greetings to our wonderful backers and followers!
Before we started this journey, we initially believed we could hit 1,000 backers. However, the more work we put in and the more time we spent trying to get the word out, it actually felt like we may not hit that milestone or even come close. We had watched multiple seemingly well-prepared campaigns fail to gain traction and others we thought were doing amazing only reach 900 backers. We thought we might hit 500 backers and we would be very happy with that. We believed we would find an audience with our games and vision on a long term basis. Well you all spoke volumes with your support.
We are now just 10 backers away 1,000 as I type this, and we are not even close to done yet!
As we near 1,000 backers we wanted to just take a minute and say thank you again for setting us on the path to achieve this incredible milestone for our first game.
Another cool moment this week was when we hit #3 on the Boardgamegeek Hotness list 2 days in a row (still #6!). We still might hit #1 in the future, but it was a really cool thing to see on the front page this weekend!
But that's not all! We joined James at Dads on a Map podcast just a few days before launch to talk about the development of Stellar Ventures, games we have been playing and plenty more! If you wanted to get a sense of the two people you were supporting by backing our project, take a listen!

🚀 Group Shipping Rates If you would like to organize group shipping, you can add-on additional copies of Stellar Ventures to your pledge, up to a maximum of 5 additional copies (for 6 in total). Estimated shipping rates for 6 games to the following locations are as follows.
USA = $60 USD Canada = $60 USD United Kingdom = £20 EU = £30/€35 Australia = $60 USD
We can provide estimates for other countries and copy number, but generally consolidated orders will reduce the shipping cost on a per copy basis.

We are at a loss for words...and those who know us well would be shocked at that! Today was better that we ever imagined. Above is a photo that Pontus shared with us of his Kickstarter launch party, where he is playing Stellar Ventures with his original playtesting crew (from long before we got involved with the game).
Thank you all so much for your support so far. When we started this journey two years ago over coffee at Pax Unplugged, we would joke that we might sell 5 copies, and every time something good would happen we would up that number slightly. We got up to 200 the other day! Today we actually beat that...in less than an hour! We hit our funding goal in 14 minutes! Truly humbling.
We are truly thankful for all of you and your early support in this process. It helped this small passion project of ours gain the traction we needed to gain even more visibility.
We cannot wait to get this game into all of your hands as soon as we can. Until then...
