Progress Update #1: Pledge Manager Surveys & Production Update

Hello everyone! We have been hard at work over the past month getting everything ready for production, and are excited to share our first post-campaign update!

Pledge Manager On The Way!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. This should be Monday for most of you, though a small number of you were part of the test run and should have already received the survey today! It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. This should be a pretty simple pledge manager survey - finalize your pledge, provide shipping information and purchase extra copies of Stellar Ventures if you didn't get to during the campaign. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

Note: If you used a secure Apple ID to login to Kickstarter while backing Stellar Ventures, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message us on Kickstarter or post a comment with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation. Production Update

We have reviewed the PPC (pre-production copy) sent to us by Panda and have made slight revisions. All files are now final and approved for mass production! What does this mean? Once we get the MPCs (mass production copies) to review, we can give the final approval and start mass production! This means that we are ahead of schedule, hopefully getting games into your hands sooner than anticipated. 

Family Recipe 

As promised, the game will include one of Pontus' family recipes! We can confirm this is delicious, as we wanted to test it using both imperial and metric units of measurement. And we also love the artwork that Richard came up with for it!

Corporation Lore

We love lore. Since the Kickstarter was such a success, we went ahead with a secret stretch goal that we had - hire a professional writer to develop lore and a backstory for each of the Corporations in the game and their respective Founders. We tapped Sophie Abromowitz - who wrote all the amazing life outcomes for Hot Streak - for this, and she did an amazing job! The goal was to hit a generally serious tone, while creating a humorous and satirical send-up of venture capitalism. We try to not take ourselves to seriously, and try to inject a bit of silliness throughout to help cut the often dry nature of economic games. We hope you all love these as much as we do! Dear Backers,

This has been an incredible campaign and has exceeded our expectations! We truly did not know what to expect on launch day; we believe that Stellar Ventures is a phenomenal game (and game system...more to come), but really did not know what the reception would be like for a first time publisher/developer and designer combination. Thank you all so much for supporting the project to bring this game to a wider audience. You are not only backing Stellar Ventures, but supporting TableTapas Games. We can't wait to bring you more of these crunchy, interactive games soon. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's talk about what's next.

Pledge Manager and Late Pledges: 

Stay tuned in the next few weeks - each backer will receive an email with a Backerkit Survey. This must be filled out with shipping information to complete the order! You will need to allocate your total pledged amount, and then you may add-on additional copies of Stellar Ventures if you want to (no other add-ons will be offered for this campaign). This will all be explained through Backerkit emails soon! Additionally, we will be taking late pledges through Backerkit, so if you know of anyone who missed the campaign, please let them know!

Founders: 

Thanks you all again for your support above and beyond and the belief in us as a company. We aim to make this a great long term investment for you. For those that backed at the Founders tier, we will be sending out an e-mail to you all soon with some key information. Please keep an eye out for this, as it will help us get you set up for your perks!

Production: 

We are hard at work getting all of the final files ready so that we can start the printing process and try and beat that January delivery date!

Hello everyone! With 36 hours to go in the campaign, we wanted to share an artwork update. 

Making Stellar Ventures a beautiful production with awesome table presence has always been a top priority. But before you can get to the components and the game, you have to open the box. We want our box to look gorgeous not only on your shelf, but also once you open it and start setting it up. So here is a sneak peek at the inside cover!

Board Game Barrage & Final Days

Hello to all our wonderful backers and followers! We continue to be extremely grateful to all of you and cannot believe we are approach $100k in funding with 5 days left. We will keep this update short, but we had some new coverage that we were just too excited to share! 
 

Board Game Barrage Podcast 

We have been long time listeners of Board Game Barrage and participants in their wonderful Discord community.  After our campaign launched, we heard from Mark that he wanted to try the game out, so we quickly sent along a copy of the prototype for him to try and get a play in before the campaign ended. Take a listen to the podcast they dropped this morning! Discussion on Stellar Ventures starts around the 18:30 mark and it's great (the whole episode is wonderful too)!

Final week updates - getting ready for a strong finish!

Hey everyone! We have officially entered the final week of the campaign. Thank you all for the support so far! Just a few updates today:

Pre-Production Copy (PPC)!

The pre-production copy is on its way to us! We received this fun photo from Panda GM showing off some of the components. The back of the box is a temporary place holder, and all of the wooden bits aren't included here because we already have those, but its still fun to see all of printed bits laid out! We can't wait to see it all soon.

Playthrough

Additionally, you can watch the full 3-player play of the base game HERE. They had a great time with it, and it was so fun to watch how the multiple Agreements played out! It's so fun to see how different every play of this game can be. 

Founders Pledges

We have had some interest in the sold-out Founders pledge. To be honest, we did not expect it to sell out as fast as it did and we are very grateful for all of the faith and support.
